After graduating from the management nutritionist training process at Kyoto Prefectural University, she engaged in product planning at food manufacturing company and food company.
She also contributed to the development of new “limited” products of pasta, sandwiches, and side dish bread to a certain convenience store.
In between job changes, she goes to school as a food coordinator, takes pictures of food coordinators and stylist teachers, and also experiences cooking class assistants.
After retiring from pregnancy, she studied health and body again. Now she is raising a 5-year-old twin boy (using natural remedies without relying on medicine as much as possible), while practicing child-rearing with high immunity by incorporating something close to the above.
She also presides over a cooking class for rice cooked at home (sometimes on a business trip) and mainly holds additive-free sprinkle furikake courses and fasting courses. She teaches how to eat and serve as well. In addition, she is currently helping people to prepare their body, as an osteopathic manipulative practitioner.
A cafe run by a bakery that is particular about ingredients
BLUE JAM was started in October 2013 as a natural bakery-cafe along the Muromi River in the suburbs of Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
If you don’t live nearby, it’s a bit difficult to get there without a car, but the bakery has a spacious parking area, so it’s a good place to take the family on holidays. Incidentally, there is a small space next to the bakery where small children can play a little.
The “blue” in the name “Blue Jam” is said to be a reflection of the color of the beautiful water surface of the Muromi River, the blue sky over Fukuoka City, sincerity, cleanliness, and melancholy.
“I want to feed, share it to my loved ones.”
With such an idea in mind, BLUE JAM bakes bread every day.
For this reason, they bake delicious bread every day without using additives such as preservatives, yeast food, and unnatural ingredients such as margarine, shortening, and artificial sweeteners.
They are also very particular about the ingredients they use, using 100% domestically produced wheat and butter, mainly from Hokkaido and Fukuoka Prefecture.
They also use free-range eggs from Fukuoka Prefecture, so you can get bread that is kind to both your body and your mind.
On the first floor, you can purchase a variety of their breads, but on the second floor, they also have a cafe where you can enjoy their delicious breads with a drink. Since the cafe is on the second floor and the Muromi River flows next to it, the scenery is beautiful, especially on a sunny day, making it a recommended spot. The cafe is also equipped with terrace seating, so in the warmer months, it is a great place to sit and enjoy the view.
The popular menu is Morning plate, even on weekdays
BLUE JAM is famous for its delicious bread and many people drive here to visit, but what it is actually famous for is the morning plate that can be enjoyed at the cafe on the second floor of the store.
The morning menu is only available from opening to 11:00 a.m., but many people come here to eat it. So even on weekday mornings, the place is crowded with customers.
The most popular menu item, the morning plate, includes a drink and is voluminous, so it is recommended to have it as brunch.
-Three types of toasted bread
-Organic vegetable salad (with pickled vegetables)
-Ham and eggs with homemade roast ham and organic eggs
-Organic vegetable soup
-Homemade organic soy milk yogurt
I was prepared for something a little light for a morning plate.
However, the volume of the meal was solid and filling.
Also, the vegetables used in the salad, pickles, and soup were plentiful, and the fact that they were organically grown was a great point.
Therefore, each and every vegetable was very tasty.
Butter, jam, olive oil, and rock salt (pink and black) are also available for bread, so you can enjoy your bread in various combinations to your liking.
The jam is of course homemade, using seasonal fruits with no additives, so it is not too sweet, making it the perfect accompaniment to the bread.
The ham and bacon are also homemade, which is the secret behind the popularity of this luxurious homemade morning plate.
The dessert, soy milk yogurt, is also topped with granola and honey, and they are very particular about each and every item on the menu.
Not only bread but also drinks are exquisit
These include organic herbal cordials, herbal teas, organic rooibos tea, and the highest quality Guatemalan original blend coffee that is grown without using any pesticides.
Juices are also available in organic apple and orange, so that children can drink them without worry.
In addition to mornings, you can also enjoy lunch and sweets.
Everything on the menu is handmade one by one with special ingredients, so it is very delicious.
Of course, you can also have the bread you bought on the first floor heated up and eat it on the second floor.
So even if you are visiting with a group of people, you can enjoy the bread on the first floor and the cafe menu on the second floor together according to your individual tastes.
If you want to enjoy delicious bread while driving, why don’t you go a little farther and enjoy and experience BLUE JAM?
1st floor is bakery and 2nd floor is cafe, so you can just buy the products for take away or you can eat-in inside the cafe.
