Walk along the Takano River for about 2 minutes from Exit 7 of Keihan Railway Demachiyanagi Station, you will see “Falafel Garden”. It’s very accessible and you can find it easily.
As soon as you enter the restaurant, you will smell the spices spreading softly and it whets your appetite. The interior is nicely decorated and so cozy that you can enjoy this space not just for eating. The eating space is very bright and open. On the first floor, there are table seats both inside and outside. On the second floor, there are table seating, seating at the bar and Japanese style seating (take off your shoes and sit down on the floor at a table). It is a wonderful space that you can enjoy alone, with your friends, family, in any situation. The variety of seating space will make you want to visit here again!
They use freshly grown herbs from their own garden. “I want many people to eat earth-friendly ingredients that don’t use additives or pesticides,” the Israeli owner says. You’ll find that he cares very much about the environment that there are posters and exhibits that appeal the protection of the environment in the restaurant.
A variety of food, sweets, and drinks! Both adults and children can enjoy together!
There are lots of different things on the menu. 5 variations of pitasand (Arabian style sandwich), plate dishes, side dishes, sweets and more.
Besides food menu, there are various kinds of alcohol. It’s perfect for parties and dinners on special occasions.
On a menu, there are marks to indicate vegan dishes.
It is nice to find the vegan menu easily..
Falafel Garden offers not only vegan and vegetarian meals, but also meals made with a variety of ingredients such as chicken. Kids meals are also available.
Because the owner wants all kinds of people to eat earth-friendly ingredients and enjoy his cooking, he offers plenty of choices.
Because all the meals on the menu looked delicious, and what I ate was awesome as I had expected, I ordered chicken kabab pitasand and banana shake for takeout when I left.
You will love the authentic taste.
I tried falafel plate (Lunch Set C).
*Lunch set includes:Coffee, Tea, Chai or Vegetable soup(winter only).
*Dinner set includes:Macabee beer or Chai with brownie.
Falafel is a deep-fried ball made from ground chickpeas.
The falafels are so popular that foreigners who visit say, “It’s the most delicious falafels I have ever had!”
You must try it!
At this restaurant, chickpeas are blended together with the skin, so you can get plenty of dietary fiber!
You can order just the falafels or with pita or rice as you like.
I ordered falafels with rice.
Rice is low in fat, so I recommend for those who care about calories in deep-fried food.
Feshly cooked falafels are crispy on the outside with a fluffy center.
Although they use lots of spices, the seasoning matches for Japanese, and it goes perfectly with tomato sauce!
You can eat lots of rice with this.
Vegetable soup is also an intricate dish made from carefully selected ingredients.
A seasoning, which bring out the flavor of the ingredients, makes me relaxed with a hint of parsley spreads softly in my mouth.
The vegetables in the salad are fresh and crispy! It is a satisfying taste without dressing.
Full of vegetables make me happy.
I am so satisfied with the lunch set.
You can choose chicken kabab instead of falafels for lunch set.
* Chicken kabab with rice (instead of pita) is also available.
Falafel Garden welcomes everyone.
Everybody can enjoy Farafel Garden together regardless thier food preferences.
Please come and try Falafel Garden when you come to Japan.
