After graduating from the management nutritionist training process at Kyoto Prefectural University, she engaged in product planning at food manufacturing company and food company.
She also contributed to the development of new “limited” products of pasta, sandwiches, and side dish bread to a certain convenience store.
In between job changes, she goes to school as a food coordinator, takes pictures of food coordinators and stylist teachers, and also experiences cooking class assistants.
After retiring from pregnancy, she studied health and body again. Now she is raising a 5-year-old twin boy (using natural remedies without relying on medicine as much as possible), while practicing child-rearing with high immunity by incorporating something close to the above.
She also presides over a cooking class for rice cooked at home (sometimes on a business trip) and mainly holds additive-free sprinkle furikake courses and fasting courses. She teaches how to eat and serve as well. In addition, she is currently helping people to prepare their body, as an osteopathic manipulative practitioner.
A cafe where you can feel the atmosphere of the Middle East while you are in Fukuoka
A vegan, vegetarian, and halal-friendly Arabian cafe (which is rare in Fukuoka) located right next to Hakata Station.
It is a cafe run by a trading company that mainly handles food in about 24 countries around the world.
From such a background, the store’s accessories and vessels are collected under the concept of “a bazaar at the far eastern end where cultures from all over the world gather.”
By doing so, it provides the atmosphere as if you were in a Middle East restaurant.
They aim to “create products that you can choose that you think are really good, in line with each customer’s lifestyle and wellness.”
To accomplish this goal, they use raw materials that can be safely eaten with the concept of natural, organic, fair, sustainable, cultural, and exciting.
Gelato cookie sandwich that even vegans can enjoy
We also recommend delicious Arabian gelato made with carefully selected ingredients such as figs, honey milk, dates, wild berries, and Gianduja.
All gelatos in the showcase are milk basis.
However, from this spring, the Vegan Gelato Cookie Sandwich has been launched. Now, you can enjoy gelato without milk as its ingredinets.
As for the sandwiched gelato, it is made based on soy milk, so it is different from the gelato lined up in the showcase.
In addition, no animal-derived ingredients such as milk, butter, and eggs are used for this product, so even vegans can enjoy it with peace of mind.
Regarding the cookie dough, hazelnuts, cacao nibs, black raisins, etc. are kneaded into the dough in consideration of compatibility with gelato.
Such ingredients bring harmony so that you can enjoy a taste that cannot be felt with gelato alone. Also, since it is made from 100% spelled wheat, which is an ancient wheat, people with gluten allergy can enjoy with confidence.
・ Dates & cacao
・ Hazelnut
・ Nectar soy milk
This time I enjoyed dates and cacao.
You can enjoy the rich chocolate taste by mixing the rich fragrant cacao with the sweetness of dates, which is also an Arab beauty food.
It also has volume, so even with one sandwich, you can feel satisfied.
Arabian afternoon tea that can be enjoyed only at the Hakata station square store
Right now, the most recommended menu is “Arabian Afternoon Tea,” which started on October 10, 2020.
This menu is limited to the Hakata-Ekimae store, so I definitely want you to enjoy it when you visit.
Fortunately, Chef Yokoyama, the recipe developer, was at the Hakata-Ekimae store on the day of the interview.
Therefore, not only did I hear the story directly, but I also enjoyed the menu before the releasing date.
This afternoon tea course includes Arabian scones, seven kinds of sweets (using Arabic ingredients and fruits), and plenty of afternoon tea.
It is colorful and you can enjoy it with your eyes.
There were two types of gelato this day; nectar milk and wild berries. I enjoyed the gentle sweetness of nectar and the contrasting taste of sweet and sour berries.
The berries are topped with dried fruits and you can feel the difference in texture.
(Actually, the nectar milk is fixed, and the other can be choosed from four types: Wild Berry, Dates, Fig, and Gianduja.)
The vegan mousse of berries and roses is layered with hibiscus tea and rosehip tea jelly, rich berry mousse, and crunchy tart.
Not only is it delicious alone, but the harmony of the ingredients were more delicious.
In addition, you can enjoy a spice-full of carrot and walnut cakes that are easy to eat even for those who are not good at carrots. Arabian cheesecake that you can enjoy toppings of Arabian baked sweets Kadaif with a thick filling and crisp texture.
Also, a rich taste Dates and cacao cake that makes you crave for a red wine. Nectar and pistachio Baklava, with an interesting texture packed with a layer of pie soaked with plenty of syrup. And, the spicy nuts Arabian scones served with fruit confiture and Greek yogurt.
All of them are excellent and beautiful.
It is a very satisfying afternoon tea because you can enjoy various tastes while having volume for each dish.
You can enjoy such a luxurious Arabian afternoon tea with a set drink for 2,970 yen including tax.
Make sure you are hungry when you enjoy this afternoon tea set.
Why don’t you feel like traveling to a foreign place, in Fukuoka city?
