A smoothie made with a generous amount of fruit and vegetables. When you think of a smoothie, you probably imagine a drink as cold as a sorbet. At FICO & POMUM JUICE, we offer three different temperatures: the rich and icy “RICH” smoothie, as well as “LIGHT” and “HOT,” which are not as cold as frozen. “LIGHT” is recommended for children and those concerned about their health, such as those looking to boost their immune system. FICO & POMUM JUICE offers a wide variety of smoothies, each with its own recommended temperature. For example, the photo at the beginning shows our most popular smoothie, Strawberry Banana, while this one is the cold “RICH” smoothie. In colder seasons, try the “HOT” smoothie with apple, ginger, and cinnamon, or enjoy a vegetable-based smoothie like a warm soup.

This is the fashionable town of Omotesando. Head up the stairs toward Omotesando Station’s B2 exit and walk straight for four minutes. FICO & POMUM JUICE Aoyama is located on the first floor of the Aoyama Oval Building. Across Route 246, you’ll see Aoyama Gakuin University. The shop has table seating, allowing you to relax and enjoy your drink.

All of our drinks are colorful and adorable, but they’re all the colors of the ingredients. No artificial colorings are used. And of course, they’re blended right in front of you, so no preservatives are used.
Now, customize it to your liking!
First, choose your main smoothie. There are two main types: a classic smoothie packed with fruit and a veggie smoothie featuring vegetables like kale. The recommended temperature is listed on the menu, so check it and order at your preferred temperature.

You can then add nuts, dried fruits, spices, and more. There are over 20 varieties. You can add up to two to a single cup. If you’re experiencing anemia or need extra vitamins, the staff will recommend some.

I ordered the “Triple Berry” smoothie, which is packed with strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. I ordered it at a “LIGHT” temperature, which isn’t too cold, and added some cacao nibs. What’s the ideal temperature for “LIGHT”? It’s a cool, yet easy-to-drink, smooth drink. I expected the berry flavor to be overpoweringly sour, but the tartness was subtle and the sweetness was natural. The added cacao nibs had almost no bitterness, and when I bit into it, the pleasant aroma of cacao permeated my palate.

You can change the base of the smoothie—milk, organic soy milk, 100% juice, or almond milk—for an additional ¥50, or you can request a smoothie without certain ingredients. Vegetarians and vegans also have a wide variety of options.
There are also various vegan menus
Vegan-friendly almond soy lattes come in five flavors, including red beetroot, green matcha, and blue butterfly pea. There are also three fresh raw juices made from 100% vegetables and fruits, including this one with a zingy ginger kick. The kale and beets used are carefully selected and sourced from contracted farmers.

How about a sandwich with your drink? This is a vegan sandwich with avocado and cashew nuts. By the way, sandwiches and drinks are ¥100 off between 11:30 and 2:30 on weekdays.

FICO & POMUM JUICE Aoyama is open from 8:00 AM, making it perfect for a light breakfast or a light snack. Finding something additive-free when you want a quick snack on the go can be quite challenging. So you can rest assured that freshly squeezed, additive-free smoothies are safe to drink.
We also suggest this: If you have a long wait until your next meal, sipping a vegetable-based smoothie can help prevent a sudden spike in blood sugar after your next meal. It’s sweetened with agave syrup instead of refined sugar, so your blood sugar will rise more slowly.
