A 2-minute walk from Kamata Station! A Nepalese-Indian restaurant with great value for money!
“Indian/Nepalese Restaurant & Bar Everest Kamata” is a Nepalese-Indian restaurant conveniently located just a two-minute walk from the East Exit of Kamata Station. From the East Exit, cross the rotary, walk straight along the bus route on the shopping street on the left, and you’ll find it on the first floor of a building about 50 meters away. Having spun off from a famous Aoyama restaurant, the restaurant offers authentic cuisine. From the back entrance of the building, the interior is reminiscent of Hase, a style hard to imagine. Decorated with Nepalese lace and paintings, the restaurant exudes an exotic atmosphere. With 32 seats, it’s perfect for small groups, families, and more. The restaurant offers a variety of Indian dishes at reasonable prices, from popular butter chicken curry and naan to tandoori chicken, biryani, samosas, and momos.

A luxurious lunch with a wide variety of curries to choose from starts at 930 yen! All-you-can-eat naan and turmeric rice!
At “Indian-Nepalese Restaurant & Bar Everest Kamata,” you can enjoy a one-curry lunch for ¥930. Other lunch options, featuring two types of curry, start at ¥970. The Everest Special Lunch includes three types of curry, turmeric rice, naan, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, salad, and a drink—a hearty meal guaranteed to leave you full. Curry spiciness can be adjusted from mild to extra hot. Plus, lunchtime offers all-you-can-eat naan and turmeric rice! The lunch side menu offers a wide variety of options, including tandoori chicken and fish tikka. This time, we ordered a set of butter chicken curry and today’s curry, palak mushroom (spinach and mushroom curry), a set of vegetable curry and dal curry (bean curry), and mutton biryani. The chewy naan complemented the curry perfectly.

Chicken Curry
As expected, the butter chicken curry is the most popular, with an exquisite balance of sweetness and spice, and the chicken was tender and delicious.

Vegetable Curry
The vegetable curry was packed with vegetables and very filling. It had a completely different spiciness than homemade curry, and was also delicious.

Mutton Biryani
But what surprised me was the mutton biryani. It was so delicious! This Indian pilaf is made with lightly seasoned Indian rice, lots of vegetables, and mutton stir-fried with spices. The spices are strong and spicy, but the spiciness is delicious! The nuts add a milder touch.
You can also enjoy Indian and Nepalese alcohol in an exotic atmosphere!
At the Indian-Nepalese Restaurant & Bar Everest Kamata, you can also enjoy Indian and Nepalese alcoholic beverages. The Indian beer “Kingfisher” is popular among Indian residents in Japan for its strong carbonation and refreshing taste, while the Nepalese beers are “Mustang” and “Nepal Ice Beer.” “Mustang” is a popular beer, characterized by its refreshing taste, made with natural Himalayan water. “Nepal Ice Beer” boasts a smooth, rich flavor thanks to carefully selected malt hops, making it an excellent match with spicy dishes like Indian and Nepalese cuisine. Other beers on offer include the Indian “McDowell Rum” and the Nepalese “Khukri Rum.” For dinner, various courses are available, including a 150-minute all-you-can-eat and drink course perfect for parties, and a happy course recommended for families. The Indian-Nepalese Restaurant & Bar Everest Kamata is located on the first floor of a building in the Kamata East Exit Shopping Arcade. Please come and try our Indian and Nepalese cuisine, carefully prepared by our Nepalese chef.
