After completing the dietitian training course, she experienced food manufacturer sales, cafe staff, chiropractor, and specific health guidance interviewer.
Through engaging in jobs related to food and body, she realized about diverse and various individual values towards eating.
She aims to create an environment where people can respect each value. And, one of them is to enhance food options. She is working to hope that everyone, including food minorities, can enjoy each meal in a way that is unique, delicious, and enjoyable.
A restaurant specializing in delicious seafood directly from fishing ports.
Ten minutes walk from Ebina Station. Right next to the AEON Ebina shopping mall, which is a landmark in the area. Maruyoshi suisan is a one-story building with a large sign above the entrance on a spacious site.
What makes Maruyoshi Suisan special is its “close proximity to the port. You can enjoy live and fresh seafood shipped directly from Misaki Fishing Port, Nagai Fishing Port in Yokosuka.
The first thing that you notice when you enter the restaurant is the large fish tank. There are fish swimming around and an illustrated description for fish is available. When you are seated, you will also find information on seasonal fish on the wall. There are many tricks that will get you excited even before you eat. (*You may not be able to see them depending on your seat.
The next fun part is choosing items on the menu. You can choose from a wide variety of specialtiy dishes depending on your mood and how hungry you are. It’s an enjoyable time to think about what to order.
This time, I ordered the Fried Flounder Set Meal and the Sushi Lunch Set Meal.
The fried flounder was crispy and fluffy, and even though it was hearty, it was easy to eat. It is recommended for those who do not like raw fish and for children.
The sushi made with fresh fish has no smell and the sweetness of the fish is delicious. You can reward yourself after a hard day or share it with your family.
From one person to a large group, with anyone, at any time!
The spacious restaurant has a total of 100 seats. The parking lot shared with the AEON across the street has a capacity of over 100 cars. The restaurant is fully equipped with table seats, sofa seats, tatami rooms, and private rooms, providing a comfortable space for various occasions.
In addition to a highly versatile space, we also offer course meals that fit any occasion. The lineup ranges from formal occasions such as banquets and ceremonies to more casual occasions such as family gatherings, women’s parties, and lunch meetings.
Maruyoshi Suisan also offers a Halal menu, which cannot be overlooked. Ebina is home to one of the only three mosques in Kanagawa Prefecture. With this in mind, Maruyoshi Suisan has acquired Halal certification, creating an environment where Muslims can enjoy their meals with peace of mind.
In fact, the two dishes we ordered this time were also Halal. Vinegar is haram, so white rice is used for the sushi rice. Things on the table such as soy sauce and sauce are also Halal.
An opportunity to eat fish
According to the Fisheries Agency, the per capita consumption of fish and shellfish in Japan has been declining, which was reported that it has dropped by about 60% in 2016 compared to the peak in 2001. This is due to a variety of issues such as changing dietary habits, dieting, and rising prices, but we are an island nation. It would be a shame if those of us who live in Japan did not eat seafood, despite the abundance of marine products.
Fish is a healthy food with excellent nutrients. High quality protein for the body. Excellent fatty acids that reduce cell inflammation and help prevent diseases such as myocardial infarction and cancer. Both of these are important nutrients that modern Japanese people tend to lack.
Probably one of the reasons why people are eating less fish is because cooking fish is “troublesome,” “difficult,” or people don’t know how to cook it. This is why eating at restaurants is great. If you could chhose a delicious fish meal when you eat out, you will benefit from what you are missing in your daily diet.
Maruyoshi Suisan is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to enjoy fresh and delicious fish at any occasion. “If you feel that you haven’t eaten much fish lately, please visit Maruyoshi Suisan.
