After graduating from the management nutritionist training process at Kyoto Prefectural University, she engaged in product planning at food manufacturing company and food company.

In between job changes, she goes to school as a food coordinator, takes pictures of food coordinators and stylist teachers, and also experiences cooking class assistants.

Cafe nine is a small cafe in Kasuga City, Fukuoka, which just opened in September this year(2020), attached to Natural-Natural (supermarket) operated by “Kyushu Direct Club.”
Most of the menus offered in the store are basically those sold at the attached store “Natural-Natural.” For this reason, Kyushu’s seasonal and organic ingredients are used abundantly, so not only are they delicious, but the menus are also safe to eat.
Although, the number of seats is 20 or less and the inside of the store is not large, there is free Wi-Fi and books such as “Kyushu dining table” are placed. It’s a cozy space where you can stay and relax for long time while drinking coffee or eating.

The restaurant uses ingredients sold at the store, so if you try it at the cafe and it tastes good, you can buy it and eat it at home. This is also a unique feature of Cafe nine.

When you go to Cafe nine, the first thing you should try is “Whimsical no-water curry using running pork and twelve-multigrain rice.”

When I talked to the shop staff, there is no explanation about this curry on the menu, but it is a very luxurious curry made from running pork and red beef. As for vegetables, organic vegetables sold in Natural-Natural are used abundantly.
Since it is an no water curry, it is a curry made only with the water that comes out of the ingredients. Therefore, the umami of meat and vegetables is condensed and it has a very rich taste. And the roux is not smooth, but chewy like keema curry.
I was satisfied with eating it with rice, but I thought it would be delicious even if I eat this curry with bread as well.
The curry was topped with lightly grilled vegetables, which made it look gorgeous, and each vegetable was sweet and really delicious.

They use fresh and delicious organic vegetables. This is why they can serve delicious menus even with a simple cooking method.
According to the cafe, the vegetables they use change from day to day, so I definitely wanted to repeat this place to experience different flavors.
Even with the same menu, because the ingredients will be different, you will surely be able to experience the excitement of new deliciousness every time you visit.
In addition, despite being so particular about the ingredients, I think it’s hard to find curry that can be eaten for less than 1,000 yen.
You can’t miss the hearty sandwiches and gluten-free sweets
The other food menu is Natural-Natural Sandwich, which comes in two types: vegetable sandwich and egg sandwich.
They use plenty of pesticide-free and pesticide-reduced raw vegetables sold by Natural-Natural, so the content of the vegetable sandwich might differ depending on the day.
That is why it has a very simple naming.
As the name suggests, vegetable sandwiches are made with plenty of fresh vegetables. Considering the amount, I was surprised that the price of 420 yen is great deal.
On the day I visited, in addition to leafy vegetables and tomatoes, additive-free peach ham was also sandwiched.
Egg sandwiches were also sandwiched with plenty of egg salad made from domestic feed and free-range-grown “minori eggs” and additive-free mayonnaise. It had a satisfying volume to eat.

Both types of sandwiches have a volume and quality of ingredients that cannot be imagined or expected from the price, and are delicious enough to make you want to repeat them again.。
