Healthy Junk food “THE VEGETARIAN BUTCHER”
A futuristic hamburger shop with 15,000 stores around the world, mainly in Europe.
Since The Netherlands is the most environmentally advanced country in the world, we signed a monopoly contract with a Dutch startup company, and opened it in Japan as a concept store.
In Europe, the number of people who consciously reduce their meat intake is increasing rapidly, and it seems to be a global trend. There are various reasons for this, but the most common one is “environmental problems.” It is said that the ever-increasing greenhouse gases, deforestation, and hunger problems are not eliminated because meat production continues to increase.
So, we need to find “sustainable food.” Sustainable in this sentence means, “sustainable development of the global environment, society and human beings.” THE VEGETARIAN BUTCHER is attracting attention from all over the world as a product that solves the problems (animal welfare, health problems, poverty problems, environmental problems) of conventional meat production systems.
A new type of meat category called “plant-based meat”
There are four types of “plant base” that are faithfully reproduced by scientifically analyzing actual meat cells: beef, chicken, fish, and vegetables. It is accurately reproduced so many customers are confused when they try it.
President Muratani, who brought THE VEGETARIAN BUTCHER in Japan, was very interested in the power of this “food technology (or food tech).” Food tech refers to food “x” technology.
Mr. Muratani said, “When you think of soybean base, you might imagine a light taste like tempeh, originating in Indonesia, but this plant base is totally different!”
When I actually ordered the plant-based beef “hamburger,” the taste of “beef” was amazing! I could not imagine that it was based on soybeans. It was very delicious, and I strongly recommend it!
It’s also low in fat, low in calories, and cholesterol-free, yet rich in protein. Since it is plant-based, it is quickly digested and absorbed. From such features, athletes are actively incorporating plant-based-meat into their meal menus overseas, making it ideal for those who are carrying on “physical fitness” such as yoga and workout fitness. There is also a “plant-based” butcher shop inside the store, and customers who purchase it receives a welcome wine service.
THE VEGETARIAN BUTCHER’s “Plant Base” uses a lot of herbs, so pairing with wine is recommended, so please stop by if you are wine lover. If you get lost, start from this menu!
There is no menu table in the store, and when you get to your seat, the staff will bring you a QR code slip so you can read it with your smartphone to place an order.
Drinks are free refill systems, and you can choose your favorite side dish from “broccoli, carrot, and french fries.”
When I asked for the store recommendations, they told me, “First of all, please try chicken! A particularly recommended menu is “One stone with three birds Terimayo burger” 1180 yen.”
They sandwich plant-based minced meat, plant-based chicken chunks, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise between the buns.
A delicious hamburger that is kind to both the earth and the body. Please try it!
